Hurricane cleanup and restoration workers needed! FOOD & LODGING PROVIDED

Introduction

Welcome to Hurricane Relief Helpers. We work with FEMA contractors to assist in cleanup and rebuilding after natural disasters. Currently we are assisting with Hurricane Harvey, and Hurricane Irma. Hurricane Harvey was the first major hurricane to make landfall in the U.S. in over 12 years, and the first category 4 hurricane in nearly 20 years. With that being said, and the fact that one of the most affected areas (Houston) is a very large city, it is easy to see that the cleanup and rebuilding will take a very long time and a lot of work. In fact, FEMA is looking to contract up to 300,000 workers through companies under contract. Below we will explain the different types of workers needed. Now that Hurricane Irma has heavily impacted the entire state of Florida, there is a need for up to 1,000,000 workers to help cleanup in the severa

Types of Workers Needed

Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma were major hurricanes (category 4), so the damage caused is widespread. The damage area reaches from extreme southwest Texas all the way to the east coast of Florida. Below is just a few types of workers needed:

  • General Cleanup
  • Construction
  • Security
  • Insurance Related Work (such as the blue tarp program)
  • Search and Rescue
  • Heavy Equipment
  • Road Work
  • Light Duty Work (such as helping feed victims)

How You Can Apply

The way to apply is to submit your application through us, and we send your contact information and resumes to hundreds of contractors who have FEMA contracts. It does not matter if you have felonies, because some companies will still hire you. However, you do need to be honest if you do have felony convictions so we can send your information to the right companies. You don’t want a hundred companies calling you just to turn you down. With all of that said, we do charge a $40 “basic background check” fee for non-felons, and a $60 “conviction waiver” fee for those who have felonies. The companies that look at your application and call you in for an interview may or may not run their own background checks, but we are required to run a pre-check on candidates. So if you are ready to get started, just fill out the simple application below
